Tim Hoover
Head of Product Design
Tim is a designer and entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience, in which he founded a design firm and a startup, mentored entrepreneurs, worked at IDEO, and led design and product teams at Canary and Airbnb. He’s passionate about building products and feels grateful every day.
Amy Talus
Product Design Director, Value
Amy’s career has spanned consulting, creative agency work, and translating 3D concepts to a 2D product during a stint at Microsoft. Starting out in Content Design, she made the transition to product designer, and now leads our Value pillar for design.
Jess Karle
Product Design Director, Retailer Growth
Jess has a background in architecture and interior design, and has led product design at Everlane and Paperless Post. She is the author of a book about designer founders, and was the co-founder of Companion, a consumer-focused retail platform. Previously, Jess served as Faire’s interim Head of Design from 2018–2019, before rejoining the company in 2022.
Rebecca Gray
Head of UX Research
Rebecca has led UX research for a wide variety of companies including AllTrails, Airbnb, and Facebook. While at AllTrails, she established and led the research function and team in its first two years. Recently, she took a sabbatical to pursue a longtime personal ambition of immersive Spanish study in South America.
Renee Solorzano
Product Design Director, Retailer Growth
Renee has led product design at companies both big and small, category-creating and well-established—including Airbnb, Chartbeat, General Assembly, and GOOD. At Airbnb, Renee led the launch of Hotels, driving a complete overhaul of the search to book experience and repositioning the brand strategy.
Rannie Teodoro
Product Design Director, Brand
A senior leader with 15+ years of experience and a background in UX research, Rannie has overseen design at Thumbtack and Coupang, where she has grown and scaled global teams. She previously worked at Facebook and has taught Communication and Information at Rutgers University.
